General terms and conditions of sale VMCT SRL

General

These general terms govern the contractual relationship between VMCT SRL and its customers, to the exclusion of any other terms.

Any exception must be agreed in writing beforehand.

The signatory confirms having read these terms and remains responsible for invoice payment.

Containers

The container has the requested capacity. Its rim must never be exceeded and the contents must be evenly distributed.

In case of overload, the customer must remove the excess or pay the applicable supplements.

The container remains the property of VMCT SRL. Damage, theft or soiling will be charged to the customer.

The container may remain on site for 3 to 4 days without supplement. From the 5th day, a daily supplement may be charged.

Prices and payment

Prices are those stated in the offer or order.

Invoices are payable in cash on their issue date.

Any unpaid invoice may lead to late-payment interest, compensation and availability costs.

Right of withdrawal

Consumer customers have a 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal, subject to legal exceptions.

If delivery is requested before the withdrawal period expires, the customer acknowledges losing this right under the Code of Economic Law.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to professional customers.

Signage and timing

Working signage is included in the container rental.

Delivery and collection dates and times are indicative. VMCT SRL makes every reasonable effort to respect them.

Prohibited waste

The customer undertakes not to place prohibited waste: asbestos, tyres, batteries, eternit, paint, oil, chemical, toxic or flammable products, solvents, medical waste, liquids, roofing, etc.

Any breach may lead to reclassification of the container and additional invoicing.

Liability and disputes

The customer is responsible for the container from delivery and for any required administrative authorisations.

In case of dispute, the competent courts are those designated by article 624 of the Belgian Judicial Code.
